DAVIS BRADLEY

Meet

Davis Bradley

My experiences in Physical Therapy started over 20 years ago now. I was an avid travel soccer player growing up and unfortunately had to deal with a string of injuries throughout my teenage years. I had multiple stints with physical therapy for back pain, growth spurt injuries that affected my knees (Osgood-shatters), and multiple sprained ankles. I even had to have surgery on my Achilles when I was a senior in High School. So I have spent my fair share of time on the patient side of Physical Therapy. Not to mention little nagging injuries as I have prided myself in practicing what we preach about staying active as I am pushing closer to my 40s.

The reason I am a Physical Therapist today is because I was fortunate enough that I went to Physical Therapists who cared when I was young. I honestly don’t remember what treatments I had, where the office was, or even the therapist’s names, but I am a PT because they listened to a 15-year-old, treated me with importance, joked with me, and made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient on their schedule. They cared about me, I can still feel it today! At 16 I decided that I wanted to be a Physical Therapist. I never wavered, I attended Clemson University knowing that I was going to Physical Therapy Graduate school and I did at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC graduating in 2013. In PT school I did an internship with Imagine Physical Therapy where I met my Clinical Instructor John Mart, who would also become my first boss, mentor, and then business partner when we opened another office together in 2015 in North Charleston, SC. His passion for patients and giving them the best care so perfectly aligned with my own experiences that it was the perfect match! I managed and owned the practice in North Charleston for 8 years and we were blessed with winning the award for Best Physical Therapy Practice in North Charleston in 2021,2022, and 2023. I loved that office and thought we would never leave, but my wife had an opportunity in Charlotte that my family couldn’t turn down. So we moved in March of 2023.

It was so abundantly clear from the beginning when we talked about moving that my next adventure was going to be Uncommon Physical Therapy.  Taking all of the great knowledge and guidance from my time in Charleston, I couldn’t be more excited to become a positive influence on the Charlotte area giving patients the same Uncommon experience I have had with Physical Therapy throughout my life as a patient, a therapist, and a business owner.

It will be our pleasure to take care of you.

(we know it will be)!

UNCOMMON CARE

We promise to be genuine and transparent throughout your treatment, even if we have to share unfavorable news. The hardest part of our job is not being able to guarantee that all of our patients will get 100% better, although most do! Understanding this reality pushes us to create an Uncommon Physical Therapy experience for every patient regardless of their diagnosis and prognosis.
The greatest compliment we ever receive as Physical Therapists is when a patient refers their spouse, family member, friend, or stranger they met on the street to Uncommon Physical Therapy because of the care they received. This respect is what drives us every day.

Uncommon Physical Therapy has changed my life. I was suffering from horrible sciatica, hip and pelvic pain for 2 years. Now a couple of weeks later, I have been pain-free. I can sleep! Thank you so much!

Uncommon PT -- They truly listened to what was happening with my pain. They gave me exercise and attention no other PT has. I was giving up on PT. This was my last try. It was 100% worth it.

Great guy, Davis. Professional, intuitive, on the money. Time well spent. My shoulder is almost as good as new. Didn't think this progress was possible.
